When life feels too loud, healing happens in the quiet of a steady space. For 20 years, I have helped individuals and families navigate their most vulnerable transitions by prioritizing felt safety. My approach is anchored in a deep, intuitive attunement, sensing and responding to the nuances of your emotional world in real-time so your nervous system can find rest. Whether I am meeting a child with school avoidance with gentle curiosity, or providing an unshakeable presence for a teen in crisis, my goal is to name what feels hard to reach. Provide a grounded space for trauma recovery, addiction support, and emotional regulation. When life feels too loud, healing happens in the quiet of a steady space. Mental health and wellness should not be addressed only when things get hard. Building skills, connections, and understanding is essential to leading a joyful, fulfilling life. We must understand who we are, how our minds work, and what our hearts desire in order to find balance. Therapy can be a place where we celebrate and enhance our strengths and gifts while noticing areas that need our attention. I offer a space that invites individuals to explore their goals, struggles, and successes. I hold space for the emotional duality that comes with parenthood and the challenges of co-regulation. My goal is for my clients to feel validated and empowered.

Together, we’ll work to understand the experiences that have shaped who you are today, especially as you navigate the demands and transformations of parenting. Part of this work involves recognizing the patterns that show up when stress builds, when relationships feel strained, or when emotions run high.

A central part of our work together is building practical skills: tools for managing stress in the moment, communicating more effectively with your partner or children, and responding to challenges with intention rather than reactivity. This isn’t about achieving perfection — as a person, a parent, or a child — it’s about developing a toolkit you can actually use, one that grows with you and helps you build connection.

I am a Registered Social Worker (MSW, RSW) who is passionate about supporting children, youth, and families through life’s challenges with compassion, curiosity, and connection. My practice is grounded in the belief that healing can happen within ourselves, within relationships, and within community. Originally from St. Vincent and the Grenadines, I bring both professional expertise and lived experience to my work. As an Afro-Caribbean therapist, I understand the complexities of identity, belonging, transition, and resilience. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to providing culturally responsive, trauma-informed care where children and families feel seen, heard, and supported. I work with children, youth, parents, and caregivers experiencing anxiety, emotional regulation difficulties, behavioural concerns, grief and loss, school-related challenges, parenting stress, attachment concerns, and family relationship difficulties. I also enjoy supporting families through early parenting, the transition to kindergarten and school, separation and divorce, relocation, and military family life. My therapeutic approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and developmentally informed. I integrate Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS), Circle of Security (COS), the Attachment, Regulation and Competency (ARC) Framework, and play-based interventions to meet each child and family’s unique needs. I believe that every child deserves a safe space to explore their emotions, develop confidence, and build healthy relationships. I work alongside families to strengthen connection, develop practical coping strategies, and foster resilience so children and caregivers can thrive together. Outside of my work as a therapist, I cherish spending quality time with my partner and our two children. As a family, we enjoy spending time outdoors, and exploring cultural festivals and museums. On a personal level, I enjoy writing, reading, gardening, practicing yoga, and connecting with my siblings and friends. These activities help me stay grounded, embrace lifelong learning, and maintain balance so I can be fully present for the children, youth, and families I have the privilege of supporting.
